November 10th 2023 from 10:00 to 12:15 CET join us in an online exchange about Child-Friendly Justice principles implementation in practice and youth participation in the justice system in Italy, Netherlands and Greece.
Hear from professionals, youth and civil society and engage in the discussion.
The programme includes a brief presentation of the Just Closer project and the Child-Friendly Justice Principles and standards, thematic and dynamic break out sessions and a Debrief and Q&A.
The JUST CLOSER initiative brings the judicial system closer to the rights and needs of children suspected and/or accused of crimes, promoting their effective participation in criminal proceedings concerning them, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/800, while promoting the training of professionals and the harmonization of practices in the field of juvenile justice in the EU territory. JUST CLOSER is co-funded by the European Union.
